Description
Re-entry Scholarships are to assist women who have interrupted their education, at any level, for at least two years and who intend to earn a degree at the undergraduate, graduate, or professional school level. Award amounts vary. Funds can be used for tuition, books, childcare or other related educational expenses.

Eligibility
Women who:

  • interrupted their education for a minimum of two years
  • can demonstrate financial need
  • enrolled or intend to enroll in a degree program (undergraduate, graduate, or professional) at OSU's main or regional campuses
  • Preference given to those who are enrolled half-time or more

Selection Criteria

  • Financial need
  • Educational goals and potential for reaching those goals
  • Academic record

        Submit 2009-2010 Critical Difference for Women scholarship:

    Application Deadline for special scholarships:

  • Columbus Campus: Application by Feb 16, 2009, for entering freshmen.
  • Regional camus and ATI freshmen, due date is March 2, 2009.
  • Continuing students, due date is March 2, 2009.
  • Application Deadline for Federal Student Aid (2009-10 FAFSA)

  • Columbus Campus: February 16, 2009
  • Regional Campuses and ATI: March 2, 2009.

 

 

  • The application is available at http://sfa.osu.edu/scholarships
  • Submit 2009-10 FAFSA on the Web Applications by midnight Central Daylight time, March 2, 2009. (Or February 16, 2009 for entering freshmen on the Columbus campus).
